Cancellation policy
Some items in our store may be offered as a subscription, a pre‑order, or a try‑before‑you‑buy offer. This policy explains how you can change or cancel these kinds of purchases.
Subscriptions
When you purchase a subscription, you’ll receive repeat deliveries based on the subscription duration and frequency you select. Your payment details will be stored securely and you’ll be charged for each delivery unless you choose to pay in advance.
Some subscriptions may auto‑renew at the end of their duration. If you don’t want to renew, you can cancel at any time. Your order confirmation emails include links that let you manage or cancel your subscription.

Pre‑orders (general)
When you purchase a pre‑order, you are buying an out‑of‑stock or soon‑to‑be‑available product that is not yet in inventory. We collect full payment at checkout and store your payment method securely. Your order is then fulfilled and shipped once the product becomes available.
You can cancel a pre‑order only while your order is still in our processing window and before production or fulfilment has begun. Once an order has entered production or has shipped, it cannot be cancelled. You may still be entitled to a remedy if the item is faulty or not as described (see Returns & Refunds Policy).
Custom / made‑to‑order journals
The Inner Letter Journal is produced on demand specifically for you using print‑on‑demand partners. Because each copy is manufactured to your order:

You may cancel your pre‑order before production begins. In practice, this is usually within 1 hour of placing your order, but the exact timing depends on when the order enters the print queue.

Once production has started, your order is considered a custom‑made item and standard change‑of‑mind cancellation rights no longer apply under UK and EU consumer law.
If your journal arrives damaged, misprinted, or not as described, you retain full rights to a remedy. Please contact us with photos within 30 days of delivery so we can arrange a replacement or refund.
